I have also been recognised with some awards like the Idohosa Wells Okunbo Excellence Awards and the Creestel Heritage Award. I was invited to, and participated in public readings at the 2019 World Book Day event, in the presence of many dignitaries. I also participated in a book reading in the United Kingdom.

Interests & Ambition

I love to tell African stories using indigenous contents such as cultural references, local languages, names and cuisine. My choice of words in my books are very relatable to Nigerians because they reflect our culture and values to the rest of the world.

The future of our great nation depends on us – children and youth. We should intentionally develop all the talents and skills that we have in order to build a better future, where our potentials  would be identified and unlocked.

I intend to write more books to encourage the reading culture in Nigeria. And in future, I plan to travel around the world to different places and tell my stories, sharing unique Nigerian culture and perspectives through our narratives. I also aspire to be a Cardiac Surgeon, while creating time to write books and tell stories.

My dream is to contribute to enriching Nigeria’s reading culture. Reading books bring light to society. I want the future to be bright for me, for my country and for all her citizens.
